VuCOMP Inc announced it has installed its advanced computer aided detection system, M-Vu CAD, at BayView Radiology in Tampa, Fla. M-Vu CAD is designed to help radiologists find breast cancer earlier. The M-Vu system will analyze images from BayView’s new Fujifilm Aspire HD Plus digital mammography system. VuCOMP’s CAD system analyzes mammograms and marks areas consistent with breast cancer using sophisticated mathematical algorithms.
