Sweden-based Solutions for Tomorrow is showcasing its FDA-approved Model One mobile digital radiology system at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, which is taking place this week in Chicago. Model One is powered by X-tech Cell battery technology, which was developed in-house and comes with an eight-year warranty.
“By removing limitations and acting as disruptors, we’re fulfilling our mission of [providing] mobile x-ray of outstanding quality to all those in need,” says the company’s CEO, Mattias Guldstrand. “Thanks to our battery technology, X-Tech Cell, waiting for charge-up just became a thing of the past.”
Since Solutions for Tomorrow started promoting this product less than three years ago, more than 100 systems have been sold in Europe. Key customers include the Danish luminary site Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, and now also the third largest region in Sweden, which servies 1.3 million people.
Model One is the first in a line of products that Solutions for Tomorrow plans to introduce under its True X-ray Mobility umbrella.
