Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, NY has upgraded its ultrasound fleet with 14 Aplio 500s from Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc, providing consistent imaging for all breast, echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies.
“Previously, we had a mix of manufacturers, and decided that upgrading to a single system would ensure our clinicians and sonographers could use every ultrasound in the hospital, making exams more streamlined and efficient,” said Brian Wetzel, administrative director of diagnostic imaging. “Not only are the systems easy to use, but the image quality allows our clinicians to see things they’ve never seen before.”
