Hitachi Medical Systems America, Twinsburg, Ohio, has introduced HI VISION Preirus ultrasound scanner to the U.S. It had been available in Europe and Japan for more than a year.
The compact ultrasound features cell processor technology and an integrated LCD touch screen and comes with a wide selection of transducers for different applications.
Hitachi’s V53W transvaginal probe is designed to be thin, while having a 200° field of view and Hitachi’s 4D volumetric imaging technology.
The Preirus also supports advanced imaging with optional features of real-time tissue elastography, which can also be correlated with MRI and CT studies and the images displayed side by side in real-time during scanning.
