AHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management has announced that its 2020 Annual Meeting and Exposition, originally scheduled for July 12 to 15, 2020, in Boston, will be held online only and is now planned for August 11 to 13, 2020.

“Due to ongoing safety concerns, travel restrictions, and public health policies brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, it became clear that the physical event in Boston was not feasible for 2020,” says AHRA President Chris Tomlinson. Instead, we are excited to announce that this year’s AHRA Annual Meeting will be a content-packed, dynamic, virtual experience with a full program of inspiring sessions, networking, and exhibitor opportunities. While we’ll miss being together in person, we’re excited to deliver an experience that is inclusive, engaging, educational, and inspiring, as our Annual Meeting has always been.

“Although the meeting format is changing, the premise and goals behind it—networking, shared knowledge, and interactive opportunities with vendors and attendees—have not,” Tomlinson adds. “We’re eager to share all of this in a new way that is now also so accessible to so many.”

Full details about the virtual event cost, refunds, and registration will be communicated directly to members, exhibitors, speakers, and attendees over the next few weeks.
