The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is offering a new regional course this spring in Santiago, Chile. The RSNA Spotlight Course, New Frontiers: Advances in Radiology of the Thorax, will be held from April 12-13 at the Hotel Plaza el Bosque Nuevas Las Condes. Registration is now open for this unique course, which will be presented entirely in Spanish.

The two-day course will offer personalized education and sessions on cancer imaging, cardiovascular imaging, infection and inflammation, and more from specialists in chest imaging from North America and South America. Course participants will learn new concepts in thoracic imaging and acquire practical skills to improve patient care in their practices and in their communities. In select sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and test their knowledge with the RSNA Diagnosis Live gamification program.

The course was organized with the support of the Chilean Society of Radiology and will be presented under the direction of Carlos S. Restrepo, MD, from the University of Texas (UT Health) in San Antonio, Texas, and Claudio Silva, MD, MSc, from the Clínica Alemana de Santiago in Chile.

“This RSNA Spotlight Course is the state-of-the-art in chest radiology with a large selection of topics of great clinical relevance,” Restrepo says.
