Mach7 Technologies has been awarded a US patent for handheld medical imaging modality.
The patent covers any mobile device that can capture and upload imaging data into a patient’s electronic medical record (EMR). Using the patented technology, Mach7’s iModality mobile application brings its Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform to mobile devices. The HIPAA-compliant solution enables clinicians to capture medical imaging data including photos, videos, and notes using a Web-enabled smart device, send to an archive via Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform, and link to an EMR for immediate access.
