“We are extremely honored to accept this esteemed award,” said Dorin Comaniciu, vice president of Medical Imaging Technologies, Siemens Healthcare. “Having this breakthrough technology recognized by the Research & Development Council of New Jersey is extremely rewarding and further validates our leadership position in innovation.”

Established in 1962, the Research & Development Council of New Jersey was created to serve as a unified voice for the three R&D sectors —industry, academia and government — to work with the state to create an environment in which R&D could thrive. Since then, the council has been dedicated to cultivating an environment supportive of the advancement of research and development in New Jersey. Over 50 inventors and 12 New Jersey companies and universities will be recognized at this year’s event.
