Anthro_Carls-Table_CT15_2+1_ReclineAnthro Corporation has announced commercial availability of its Carl’s Table CT15 adjustable radiology desk, a complete work area solution with precise and extensive personal adjustments designed with radiologists’ comfort in mind.

“The Carl’s Table CT15 was designed from the ground up to meet the needs of radiologists and to be user-friendly and intuitive,” said Julia Griffiths, product manager at Anthro. “We applied everything we’ve learned about monitor support for diagnostic displays, resulting in features that make the desk and displays even easier to install and reposition along the array.”

The desk offers multiple areas of adjustment that can be customized quickly and easily. Ideally suited for radiologists in shared workspaces, the table requires just a touch of a button to modify its height and degree of tilt, for sitting, standing, or reclining. Display height and depth can be adjusted electrically to achieve the ideal focal depth and encourage regular repositioning, which reduces eye fatigue.

“Some manufacturers in this space try to repurpose sit/stand tables for radiology,” said Griffiths. “Anthro’s Imaging Solutions are designed from the ground up specifically for healthcare imaging, so they have the monitor support and cable management that this distinct application requires and deserves.

One updated design is the Monitor Easy Track, which uses a dual boom to form a seamless monitor array. To attain an optimal contrast ratio, an Adaptive Lighting System adjusts brightness on the back panel behind the displays, also reducing eye strain. In addition, the sleek desk features s smooth finish, eliminating hard edges that can cause discomfort.

The Carl’s Table CT15 is backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on the table and a 5-year warranty on the electrical system, subject to certain limitations. Its cords, plugs and bulbs are not warranted.

Desks are available for purchase exclusively through Richardson Electronics Healthcare and Merry X-Ray for $14,999.00. For more information, visit Anthro.
