Medical equipment manufacturer Quantum Medical Imaging has completed installation of its Q-Rad-DIGITAL DRX Radiographic System at Oakwood Healthcare Center in Canton, Mich.
The system includes a fully integrated x-ray room consisting of a Quantum 65 kilowatt generator with high speed starter and a ceiling-mounted tube support with TechVision, which allows technologists to access a color touch display right at tube-side in order to view and set up all technique parameters easily and conveniently. It also features a wall stand with a fixed Cesium detector, an elevated float-top table and a wireless Cesium detector that provides lower dose imaging.
Oakwood Healthcare is an independent, not-for-profit health care organization that provides acute, specialty, primary and preventative care services in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, family medicine and internal medicine.
Michigan-based Kalamazoo X-Ray Sales Inc., a certified Quantum and Carestream Health dealer, facilitated the sale and installation.
