ContactMyDoc, the appointment request Web site that also lets patients compare healthcare cost and quality, has announced a partnership with Advanced Medical Imaging Center (AMIC), which offers services at two locations in Chicago.
Patients at AMIC-Downtown Chicago and AMIC-Hyde Park Open MRI will be provided with one-click online scheduling, appointment notifications, and secure office-patient messaging.
“We are thrilled to provide our unique combination of services at two more imaging centers in the Chicago area,” said ContactMyDoc CEO and co-founder Harsh Singh. “These new locations will enhance ContactMyDoc’s ability to promote healthcare cost transparency, improve access to affordable care, and help patients and employers make more informed decisions about healthcare expenses.”
Formerly named AffordAScan, ContactMyDoc allows patients to compare radiology services based on cost, quality, and their proximity to the diagnostic imaging provider. It also enables patients to request same-day or next-day appointments for free online.
The site assists providers in obtaining referrals, reducing no shows, filling open time slots, and boosting operational efficiency.
