Aycan is celebrating 10 years of technology investment and innovation with its OsiriX platform, which has evolved over the years to include advanced integration capabilities, a service organization, applications, and plug-ins designed to improve productivity and patient care.
In numerous collaborations with universities, research institutes, and other medical technology companies, aycan has helped advance the OsiriX platform with a variety of solutions. These partnerships include FDA and CE certification for aycan OsiriX PRO multi-modality post processing workstation, advanced integration and customization capability, and a technical service and support organization. The company has also offered on- and off-line training modules, including free seminars at industry events such as the annual meetings of the Radiological Society of North America and the European Congress of Radiology. Other features include: Advanced plug-ins for vascular surgery, nuclear medicine, oncology, teleradiology, mammography, and other critical applications; customer notifications of software updates to mitigate system risks; RIS/HIS and other PACS systems integration solutions; and FDA clearance for an iPad app for teleradiology. Most recently, aycan introduced structured reporting and a secure private cloud teleradiology solution based on the OsiriX platform.
