Medical imaging core lab Intrinsic Imaging recently announced the appointment of its new vice president of business development, Amy Zastawney, who will focus her efforts on the East Coast.

Zastawney previously served as the executive director of business development at Clinical Research Management Group, a consulting and services organization for clinical trials. She was also the director of business development at Jubilant Clinsys, a full-service CRO focusing on Phase I-IV clinical trials, as well as the former director of business development at ICON Clinical Research. Zastawney is also the former director of account management at United BioSource, director of strategic accounts at Sentrx and a project manager within PAREXEL’s Perceptive Informatics Medical Imaging Division.

“Ms. Zastawney brings to Intrinsic Imaging 14 years of experience within international contract research organizations, and she has in-depth knowledge of the needs of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies conducting clinical trials,” said Todd Joron, the company’s president and chief operating officer. “We are delighted to have Amy join our team and we are confident she will make a positive and lasting contribution to Intrinsic Imaging.”

A registered nurse who graduated from Mercy Hospital’s School of Nursing, Zastawney also holds a master’s degree in public health from Boston University. She will be based in Intrinsic Imaging’s Bolton, Mass, office.
