This achievement is the latest milestone in the Foundation’s 30th anniversary celebration campaign, whose funds will be used toward future scholarships, grants, and other programs for radiologic technology educators, students, and clinical personnel.

Called the “Positioning for a Brighter Tomorrow,” the campaign was launched in June of last year to bring about long-term financial stability for the Foundation. With the goal of empowering radiologic technologists and strengthening the profession, the campaign also seeks to foster collaboration with industry partners to enhance patient care and safety around the world.

“We’re very excited about the progress we’ve made, and surpassing $1 million in commitments is truly a major milestone early in the campaign as it gives us great momentum to achieve our ultimate goals,” said ASRT Foundation Director Phelosha Collaros.

The Foundation, which represents the philanthropic arm of the ASRT, is offering individuals and corporations the opportunity to have their names included on the ASRT Foundation Donor Wall, which will be located near the entrance of the ASRT Museum and Archives. Furthermore, campaign supporters have the option to purchase naming rights to facilities and meeting spaces at the ASRT office in Albuquerque. Donors can also help create new scholarship endowments and grant awards for research and international outreach.
