Viztek, a health IT solutions provider, has announced 20% growth in PACS and RIS installations in 2014 over 2013. DR sales also increased 25% following the introduction of the ViZion + wireless DR panel, designed for the urgent care, orthopedic, and hospital settings, and the rapid adoption of the Viztek U-Arm and straight-arm.

“Viztek continued to successfully charge forward throughout 2014, capturing a greater share of the healthcare market with our strongest product line yet,” said Josip Cermin, founder and president, Viztek. “Lead by our dominance in innovating the RIS, PACS, and EHR market, alongside our new FDA approvals in both software and hardware, we succeeded our own goals and look forward to creating breakthroughs that will lead us to further success in 2015.”

The company’s other recent innovations include the Exa PACS, introduced in late 2013 and FDA-approved in 2014, and zero-footprint viewing technology announced in late 2014. The web-based Exa system is compatible with all devices and operating systems to improve PACS accessibility, while the zero-footprint viewing allows radiologists and referring physicians to view reports independent of their computer’s operating system.

“Our commitment to simplifying radiology will be even more apparent in 2015 as our team continues to develop cutting-edge technology allowing Viztek to be a market leader in the radiology space,” Cermin said. “We plan to leverage our relationships with our distributors, resellers, and loyal customer base to continue to expand our footprint and bring the most advanced product line for imaging departments.”
